Since the release of his first project in 2008 to last years ‘Jim Crow – The Musical’ Add-2 has been captivating listeners and tastemakers’ ears and imagination with his unique blend of Hip Hop, Soul and Jazz.

From his wordplay to his no-holds-barred social commentary, Add-2 has emerged as a respected voice in Hip Hop. Chicago born and bred, Add-2 used his gifts to escape the harsh realities of his neighborhood. He has been featured on MTV, Sirius Radio, given a TEDx Talk, performed on stage with Grammy Award winners The Roots and Robert Glasper and is currently a member of the Recording Academy.

In 2016, he opened a music mentoring studio for the youth called Haven Studio, a pillar of the community providing programs for the youth that has been featured on The Steve Harvey Show, Tribeca Film Festival, Fox News and Windy City Live.
